My oldest Jeremiah, turned 10 this year, and had the choice of a party or a room makeover. It didn’t take him long to choose a room that would last years opposed to a party that would be over in a few hours. His room looked a lot like his little brothers when it came to the color scheme, so he wanted something completely different and went with a Gamer Room.
The first thing I did was paint an accent wall, then I pulled out my Cricut machine and began making all of the wall decals. Many of the images were purchased as files on Etsy and I did the rest.
Each decal was made with removable vinyl so that they’re easily removed when it’s time to.
This decal was the hardest, but also my favorite. It’s right above his homework desk which I won’t focus on too much because it will be apart of its own post.
I purchased these black frames from Ikea and the posters from Amazon.
This larger frame was also from Ikea, but the image was purchased on Etsy and I sent it over to a FedEx store that prints posters. The controller decals were also something that I made with my Cricut cutting machine.
His bedding is a duvet cover from Amazon, the old comforter is actually still inside of it. Then I purchased black sheets and pillow cases from Target. I got rid of his old red rug and purchased this black and white one from Ikea.
He also received this gaming chair from Amazon which was a birthday gift from his Mimi and Papa.
I purchased this black pillow cover and insert from Ikea and then used heat transfer vinyl to make this personalized PlayStation remote. Jeremiah has been very happy with his new room. He was even more excited to have his PlayStation in his room now, since it used to be kept downstairs in the living room. All of the furniture in his room is from Ikea, but if you have any questions about where anything I didn’t mention comes from, please leave a comment below. And stay tuned for his homework station reveal coming soon.
